About Mandy
Mandy McCleary is a Christian women’s speaker, writer, singer, and perfectly flawed woman of God. Mandy grew up in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and as a teenager Mandy was involved with several church activities, including youth groups. This made a huge impact and would help mold who she became in her future. Mandy began singing in elementary school, and began singing lessons with a professional voice coach in high school. She became an accomplished singer, and continues to sing to this day in church, at some events, and occasionally sings the National Anthem at various sporting events.
Mandy attended Central College in Pella, Iowa, on a vocal music scholarship, majoring in communication and minoring in sociology.
Mandy has been in some type of ministry for over 20 years, including roles such as a youth and education director, a domestic violence and sexual assault agency counselor, a youth and teenage camp director, a bible study and women’s groups facilitator, and even grew a successful home-based businesses as a Mary Kay Cadillac Sales Director. Currently, Mandy is Pastor at Jesup First United Methodist Church in Jesup, Iowa.
In 2017, Mandy felt a calling to do more, and started Nurture Her Soul® ministries, with the passion to share the love of Jesus with any women, who she affectionately refers to as girlfriends. Nurture Her Soul® creates our own onsite-anywhere events and new online bible studies throughout the year, and is also often asked to speak at other women’s events, conferences, churches, and podcasts all over the country. Mandy has an active Facebook community that includes weekly live broadcasts and daily posts where she openly shares life experiences and nuggets of faith that are intended to nurture, love, teach, and inspire. Mandy currently resides in Jesup, Iowa. Throughout her life and career, Mandy’s passion has always been to nurture the souls of women, to help improve their lives and feel better about themselves, and Mandy is passionate about sharing her story, her humor, and her message to women and meeting them wherever they are at in their spiritual journey, and have “A girls’ night out with a purpose to connect, refresh, and nurture your soul.”
